You’re already doing the work…

Creating, posting, pricing, photographing, emailing - you're doing all of it. But when you're running a jewellery business on your own, it's easy to spend a lot of energy without knowing whether you're moving in the right direction.

The designers who build lasting brands aren't necessarily more talented than those who don't. They just have a clearer point of view, stronger positioning, and the right people around them who know the industry inside out.

That's what GoldDust is here to give you.

Authentic, not generic.

In 2026, the most successful jewellery brands are built on authenticity. Designs are imbued with meaning, collections strategically planned yet highly coveted. Their dream customers enter their worlds and want everything in it.

That clarity doesn't happen by accident - it comes from understanding what makes your work genuinely distinctive and building every decision around that.

Built on a decade of watching what actually sells, and why

Over the past decade building The Cut London into an award-winning jewellery platform, I’ve worked closely with exceptional independent designers and watched which brands grow year on year.

The ones that moved from fashion into fine, carved out defined positions and built lasting recognition all shared the same foundations: a strong point of view, clear positioning, coherent collections and consistent presentation.

Their success wasn’t accidental. It came from understanding what they stood for and building every decision around it.

At the same time, I saw talented jewellers with beautiful work struggle because their brands lacked clarity, a point of view, and strategy. The raw creativity was there, but the commercial foundation wasn’t.

No more second guessing. This is the moment you start moving forward with clarity, focus, and structure.

Kate Baxter of the Golddust Collective

Why I founded GoldDust

I'm Kate Baxter - an award-winning London-based jewellery designer, consultant, and founder of The Cut London, a fine jewellery platform curating the ultimate engagement rings and jewellery from a selection of the most coveted jewellers.

Whilst running The Cut London, I received hundreds of emails from jewellers wanting me to showcase their work.

I said ‘no’ 99% of the time - not because they weren’t good designers, but because they didn’t have everything quite there yet to really stand out.

I knew that with stronger foundations, a clear strategy, introductions made to the right people or the right systems in place, these jewellers could transform their brand into something great.

WHAT GOLDDUST MEMBERS ARE SAYING…

Golddust Collective

“The GoldDust membership has really helped get back on track after taking some time away when I had my daughter. The practical advice and resources have given me a clearer idea of what to prioritise, while the workshops have helped me think more seriously about my design, brand and where I want to take the business next. I also love being able to ask Kate anything! I’m so pleased I joined!!”

  • Kate's Q&As are the highlight of my month. She gives real, specific advice rather than generic guidance, and she knows this industry inside out

  • I honestly feel that this group of (mainly) women is the opposite to the secretive nature of jewellery workshops that can exist in the historically male heavy industry. It’s so refreshing to see the friendly nature and supportiveness, sharing of contacts and wanting each other to grow in their own business is truly special.
